Another wonderful friend has so generously agreed to to sponsor Alvin which means I now only need to find 6 more sponsors to be able to keep all ten rescued children in school.

His dad passed away two years ago and his mother was chased away by the mother in law and they relocated back to the grandmother house. They are three children, Odula and two other girls. The father had a liver cancer and the treatment took everything they had. The mother is yet to recover.

He had to be removed from school and was to be sent out to work. Would have been hard dirty labouring work.
He is just 13 and in Grade 8. Since being at school he has joined the Scouts and I saw him very proudly parading in his uniform at assembly this morning.

Thank you so much for sponsoring him and allowing him to have the rest of his childhood free of the fear of being asked to leave school and be sent to work.

Thanks to your support he will also receive a full education which will change his life and allow him choices in the future that he could have only dreamed of.
