More Kenyan’s sponsoring Kenyan children is always good news

Thanks to Udears, Kimani, Evelyn, Wilson, and Timothy from Nairobi, these two children will now be able to stay in school, safe, with their own clothes to wear, a mattress, and blankets for their bed.

Sankale is a really bright boy in Grade 6 whose parents can’t afford to keep him in school. At present, he has been attending the grace for the Head subject to us finding him a sponsor. Now he has one!

Sootian Mpoe is in grade 6 and lives with her grandmother, as it’s not safe for her to be at home. The father has sold everything they had and left the family with no food. It’s probably the usual issue with alcohol. She cannot return home as he will send her for FGM and then sell her into marriage. Now we have a sponsor for her, she will move into the safety of boarding and spend the holidays at the rescue centre.
