Welcome to another school that we support in the Mara

This is Ilpoori Comprehensive School and we have an end of financial year tax reducing opportunity for any potential sponsor.

In 2019 we built two new classroom which kick started the schools development. Since then two more classes have been built by sponsors and a further two very new classes have been built by the government.

The government has also funded some of the additional teachers needed with the parents in this very rural area paying the wages of the remainder.

Currently they have no desks in Grades 7, 8 and 9. The children sit on the floor, rocks or stand all day.
School here starts at 6am and runs well into the evening as the children need additional lessons and help to reach a standard which allows them, if they are able to find a sponsor to move on to High School.

CTE will be funding the desks and chairs for grades 8 and 9.

Each desk/chair set costs £33.25 to make and we need a further 28 sets.

As we approach the end of the financial year for many individuals and businesses if anyone has a “spare” £33.25 that you would be able to donate to help that would be amazing and very much appreciated.
